I'm just disappointed that the Nyjer Morgan thread seems to have run out of steam
I’ve read and watched waaay too much about the incident to want to stop talking about it now.

Nicely done, Nady

"If [Ruth] had [called his shot], I would have knocked him down with the next pitch." -Charlie Root
I think so, too
He’s not a true utility guy, but being able to play at the corner infield and outfield spots is versatile enough. Get him cheap, Jim.
"Who ever heard of the Cubs losing a game they had to have?" -Frank Chance
"If [Ruth] had [called his shot], I would have knocked him down with the next pitch." -Charlie Root
cheap being the key word
2011 is going to be a transition year. We don’t have a 1b in the pipeline and barring a Dunn signing, it seems logical. sure, he does not seem to have the power for the corner spot, but I will give him this, he has been hitting pretty solid since playing regularly. Not that I’m a Nady fan.

I'm still about where I was when he was first signed
Ambivalent to leaning (very slightly) positive on him. So long as he’s both cheap and not blocking anyone, I don’t see why he shouldn’t get a contract for another year.

I don't care how comfortable Nady looks at 1st..
If he gonna hit 10 homers all year as a first baseman, he’d need to hit .350 to make it worth playing him.
