The home opener is Friday, April 15, 2011 against Memphis.

Home on Friday, on the road on Saturday?
Is that normal for a minor league team? I assumed minor league schedules mirrored major league schedules. Just glancing at the calendar in April they have a home date on a Friday, and are on the road on Saturday. Later in the year they are on the road for a Friday game, and home on Saturday. Seems weird.
Almost All 4-Game Series in PCL, Almost All 5-Game Series in SL
Because almost all series in the PCL are 4 games, there are no real set days of a 7-day week in which series start and end because 7 isn’t evenly divisible by 4.
In the Southern League, almost all series are 5 games. Again, that makes for no real set days of a 7-day week for series to start and end. 7 isn’t evenly divisible by 5.
