Suggestion, not rumor: Offer Aramis to Angels

Not a new idea by any stretch, but one that bears thinking about now that Beltre is signing with the Rangers. This could be a chance to unload Ramirez' salary, perhaps taking an infielder like Maicer Izturis in return. The Cubs would really miss Aramis' bat for 2011, but they could put DeWitt and Baker at third, and Izturis at second. Give Aramis an incentive to agree to the deal by making his 2012 contract a player option, rather than a team option. He can become a free agent if he wants after 2011, or get that last $16 M from California if he chooses. Is it worth undermining the Cubs' chances drastically in 2011 to unload a salary and improve the infield defense?
