Cubs Spring Training Tickets On Sale Today

Those of you headed to Mesa for spring training -- and the first game of 2011 is now only 52 days away -- probably already know this, but in case you are interested and did not know, individual game tickets for Cubs spring training games in Mesa go on sale today at 10 a.m. CST.

Here's the link to all 17 games at Ho Ho Kam Park. That link also shows the two games to be played in Las Vegas, although with no ticketing link. The Cubs are also playing an intrasquad game in Mesa on March 30 that doesn't show on that page; proceeds from that game go to charity.

In the past, weekend games and games vs. the White Sox have sold out quickly. It will be interesting to see if that is still the case. Post here if you buy tickets and let us know how it's going.

Finally, if you missed this comment in the "Cubs Convention roll call" post yesterday, individual convention passes finally sold out a little after 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, although hotel rooms (that come with passes) are still available.

Any word on when Flex Packs go on sale?

In the past few years, it’s been happening in January.

Season ticket payments are due this weekend.

It will probably be sometime after that, likely after the convention.

I'll have to just keep checking!

For some reason, last year I never got the email about it (odd, because I got the email in the previous year). Luckily, I found out the morning of the sale from BCB.

I’m roughly the 27,000th person in line on the season ticket waiting list. Ugh.

Per the email i got today..

Please remember that half the balance is due on January 31st, 2011 and the remained at the end of February 2011 and tickets will be mailed in March.

I guess this billing cycle is only for new season ticket holders.

by lakhania on Jan 6, 2011 4:35 PM CST up reply actions

Correct.

Existing season ticket holders have to pay by Sunday (actually, Monday, as we have been told).

Anyone familiar with

Where to buy the Vegas tickets? Do I need to go through HoHoKam or through Cashman to get those tickets? I know those games will sell out and I need to take the family to at least one of them (preferably the Reds game) to get my live Cubs fix for the year. I hate being stranded in Vegas…

I'll buy my home game tickets by mail

and save the fees. Will buy online for the away games. If anyone is interested how to buy through the mail, I’m sure someone can post the address and instructions. I don’t have them with me at work.

spring training tickets

I was able to get tickets online within 20 minutes this morning at 10:00. I used two browsers and I got in rather quickly on both. Kind of surprised—I was bracing myself for a longer wait. The 3/24 game with the White Sox at Ho Ho Kam, tickets were pretty much gone that early in the selling period.
Holding the printed tickets in my hand this morning had a nice feel to it and kind of warmed up my day for me.

All set for 3/18 & 3/20

Took about 12 Minutes, and I snagged the San Fran tix right away. the game against Cincy took at the most time. Now just have to wait to get the away games. I’ll be there 3/17-3/22.

I saw a lot of snow today

topic drift...

Just walked by Wrigley and the offseason elves are hard at work, fixing it up.

Looks like some new gates were installed over by the Billy Williams statue – or they did one helluva job cleaning up the old ones. Saw and heard lots of hammering and pounding – couple guys with hammer/picks whaling away on the undersides of the ramps. Concrete inspections must be coming up soon. Many other smaller areas are covered up by plastic – probably trying to do some masonry repairs and/or painting touch-ups.

Going to 3/20 game against the Giants

Got in right away at 10 am. Section 100 behind home plate. This will be my first Cubs home spring training game.

I am also going to the 3/19 game at Peoria Sports Complex against the Padres when they go on sale Saturday. Hopefully I can get nice seats there as well.

I hope to see a great start to the Mike Quade era Cubs in AZ.

FWIW

After being “sold out” yesterday, individual convention passes are once again available today. Just pulled up sequence number 3015.

Interesting.

Maybe they added more to the individual pool because hotel room sales are down?

Vegas tickets

I got mine a couple weeks ago. Tickets are $35 a piece and you have to buy a LV 51’s ticket package , which you can donate.

Vegas Tickets

Anyone know when they go on sale without having to buy a ticket package? I am not really interested in buying 10 extra games for the right to reserve my ticket today.

Call the 51's box office.

They should know.
