This is kind of a sloppy article. While it points out the Convention sold out in 24 minutes in 09, it fails to point out the Convention has sold out every year for 26 years and for the last decade at least within a few hours. The comment from the Cubs is simply absurd claiming that the expect sales to meet or exceed last year. How do you exceed a sell out? Currently the Cubs have sold less than 100 ticket since they put tickets that would normally go with rooms on sale because the rooms are not selling. The last part of the article is practically a sales pitch to buy tickets. FYI tickets on Stubhub and Craig's list are going for as little as $25 though most are in the $40 to $50 range.
