Well, now Theo after receiving his 5 minutes today...

…can enjoy the next 5 years at least of oblivion as it pertains to ESPN. After all if you’re not a Yankee or a BoSox your nothin.

Guys, hitting is not about muscle. It's simple physics. Calculate the velocity, v, in relation to the trajectory, t, in which g, gravity, of course remains a constant.... It's not complicated. - George Costanza

Well lucky you.

This thread has about 31 extra minutes of it for ya haha

Check out what he says at 11:00 min mark

He talks about teams that build a playoff team for a year only to see themselves out of the playoffs for the next few years after (he basically describes the Cubs over the last 14 years).

He talks about the MYTH of the AAAA ballplayer (Yes Al, myth), by the way he was talking about Brian Lahair when he said that.

He talks about CARMINE (the computer program the BoSox used to have efficient access to player info) and how Jed Hoyer missed the program in San Diego and hired a couple of programmers to help build their own system.

He has FULL control over payroll, (those are his words) FULL CONTROL!!!!

This is going to be exciting folks.

Being a Computer Engineering Major

I would die to be a part of the Cubs equivalent of Carmine. That would be soooooo awesome.

What are you waiting for!!!!

I can guarantee you the Cubs don’t have anything near the equivalent of Carmine, they’re probably still using filing cabinets.

Well..

I am an Computer Engineering MAJOR. Not a Computer Engineer. I gotta finish school before I can do that. lol.

I like that that Theo sees some potential in Lahair

I am hoping he is late bloomer like Freeze or Nelson Cruz.

Like that guy said lahair is killing it in Winter Ball

6 homers in 10 games, .308 BA, .423 OBP, and a 1.246 OPS.

Hey, if I'm wrong, I'll say so.

Right now, I still don’t see it.

I missed this and was mad at myself for not thinking to DVR it.

Dear Great Pumpkin, I am looking forward to your arrival on Halloween Night. I hope you will bring me lots of presents.

Thank you for posting this.

That was great to watch. I get the sense of his humble, laid back attitude on the surface, but you know he’s intense and going full bore behind the scenes. Love it.

MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT ALREADY. THIS GAME IS ABOUT ADJUSTMENTS.
