Cubs Convention

Has there been an announcement when the tickets for the Cubs Convention will be going on sale? I know Al will be there, but who else is going to go?

This link says convention passes go on sale “first week of November” but does not give an exact date. Should be soon, I’d think.

Only way this thing sells out in the first week is if Ryno gets hired.

Agreed.

The hiring of Theo will help sales, but that would put it over the top.

Not that I don't want Sandberg to be the next manager...

…but last year the convention was great. Lines weren’t long, seats were easy to find, etc…the only one that was packed was the Santo tribute (for obvious reasons). So if it didn’t sell out, that would be okay with me.

Planning to come if we can get passes.

Mrs. Zeke wore me down and I finally caved. Not staying at the Hilton though. You can stay at the hotel next door for $100 less per night.

If?

You’ll be able to get them for $10 by New Year’s.

I'm holding you to that price.

Two please.

I'm thinking it might actually sell out this year.

People are getting more optimistic.

We did that a few years ago staying next door because we thought we couldn’t go but our convention weekend plans were cancelled 3 weeks ahead of time.

We’re doing that this year as well,
