I just hope if he ever gives up a walk off home run (and eventually he will)...

…that whoever hits it, does the exact same thing this “tool” does. Over the top celebrations from a man/child who’ll probably never have to stand in a batter’s box. Every pitcher in baseball who gets pissed when a batter stands and admires a long home run, should think of Valverde before retaliating.

You hate Jose Valverde because he dances...

you’re the tool

Hmmm...just re-read my reply...

and not one time did I mention “hate”. Maybe you should get someone to re-read it for you?

And if he's dancing...

…that usually means that the Cubs just lost (or whoever he’s playing against).

yeah

worst part about it all is that he normally gets to do his dance

He can dance if he wants to

he can leave his friends behind…

Nope

Just take three and a half minutes rounding the bases on a homer against him. Laughing and pointing the whole way.

Why?

Because he’s good? Because he showboats? By that same logic, just about every Brewer has at least one shot to the ribs coming and Fielder, Braun and Morgan have multiples. I’m not much for the theatrics either but the only real thing you can do about it with Valverde is beat him.

by krummy12 on Oct 5, 2011 8:42 AM CDT up reply actions

Because he showboats

Because he never has to worry about taking a shot to the ribs like Fielder, Braun and Morgan because he will never get an at-bat.

People ask me

what I do this time of year when BCB has slow news days like these. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

I agree

I wish we had someone with that kind of passion on the Cubs. I hope that passion is more controlled than Z’s. The guy looks entertaining.

I don’t want to play golf. When I hit a ball, I want someone else to go chase it.

beat him and stop it from happening, simple as that
