Gotta improve the defense for him to be totally effective, but go get 'em boys!

That's not the reason to do it.
Buehrle is an inning eater — never gets hurt. Works fast. His defensive players like him for that.
At the right price, he’s a good signing.

Agree...
…100 percent with Al. Buehrle would be a fantastic addition, so long as we really work to improve our defense.

I like him
but it’s hard to imagine the price will be right.

Time to stop talking.
And start inking.
Hoyer has already stated that improving the defense is a top priority…probably part of the reason Ramirez isn’t returning. I think this FA signing would work really well for the Cubs.

He's a pretty good pitcher but if I were to break the bank on someone,
it definitely wouldn’t be him.
17'$ h4pp3n1n9!?!?!?
No on Buehrle
From what I’m hearing and reading, he’s going to get 4 years and around $55M. That’s insane. Left handed or not…he ain’t worth that much. 2 years for $20M total…maybe.

10-25-2011. Theo Epstein joins the Cubs. Now, the fun begins.
I like John Danks better, but Buerhle wouldn't be a bad choice.
And if it made the White Sox fans p.o.’d, even better!
Good
Don’t give him a ridiculous contract, but if he’s willing to sign for what he’s making now, then I’d love to see him on the North Side.

Just remind how much money he will save on moving expenses.
