2012 Ticket Exchanges: Season Tickets Or Large Blocks

This post is for people who are interested in selling their entire season ticket package, or buying one. You can also post if you want to sell, say, 2/3 or 3/4 of your season tickets to help defray costs, or if you are willing to buy a large portion of someone's package.

Please do NOT use this for single game tickets -- there will be posts for that beginning in February.

As always on this site, please do NOT sell any tickets here for more than you paid for them. If comments get closed, email me and I'll reopen them.

I will be the first to bite.

I currently have 2 seats located in the Outfield Terrace Reserved Section 202. I am going to the Relocation day on 12/1 at 2:00. I will stay in the 200’s but will get better seats if possible. I have an 81 game package and can offer up to 1/2 of the season. We can discuss particulars at jpeters407(at)yahoo(dot)com.

All other particulars still apply, contact me at jpeters407(at)yahoo(dot)com

I can send you pictures that I took at the event.

Interested in joining an existing group?

Hi … for 23 years I’ve had tickets in Section 235, Row 1 … We have 8 tickets.

A “full partner” gets 80 tickets … 19 games of 4 and 2 of 2 (White Sox & Boston).
A "half partner’ gets 40 tickets … 9 games of 4 and 2 of 2.

All partners are free to create their own “sub-groups” … nearly all of our current participants do. My share is split with a friend who prefers 2 tickets to games.

Always happy to present further details on scheduling, cost, etc. and will respond to emails at JJMoneyBoy(at)yahoo(dot)com.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.

4 Tickets in Terrace Outfield Reserve

I have 4 tickets in Section 242 Row 15. I am going to the Relocation day on 12/1 at 3:00. I will stay in the Terrace Outfield Reserve but will get better seats if possible. The seats are good and they are the cheapest in the lower level. Looking to sell half of the tickets. I would do a draft where I pick a game, then you pick one and so on. In the event that the Cubs did make the postseason, you would get 2 tickets to each game for face. Email jefftotsch@hotmail.com.

Wait list number

Out of curiousity, what was your wait list number going into this year?

by suburban cub fan on Nov 23, 2011 10:17 AM CST up reply actions

Last year.

I was 4000+ and got tickets.

by ferris2001 on Nov 24, 2011 5:43 PM CST up reply actions

Sorry for the delay-

I was 1800 or so. I also had a chance last year, but passed. At the time, they told me that was a one-time thing. If I didn’t take them this year then I would be dropped from the list.

Well, I couldn’t find anyone to split the package so I did decline. Hopefully the next person in line was able to take advantage of the opportunity.

Six seats -- Infield Terrace Box Section 211, Row 5

I am willing to split full or partial season tickets for 2, 4 or 6 seats in Section 211, Row 5. However if you buy full season tickets, I ask that you sell about ten games back to me so I can take my family of six to several games. Playoff rights are obviously included and the face value for one seat is $4813.76. I am also flexible if you just want several games. My email is chipwood23 at yahoo dot com.

2 tickets - Terrace Reserved OF Sec 208 Row 10 - Looking to sell 1/2 to all

I have full season tickets in Terrace Reserved OF, Section 208 Row 10. THERE ARE NO POLES BLOCKING YOUR VIEW. These are the first section of OF seats so they are a good value, and are near the end of 208, so they are more between 208 and 209. I am looking for a partner who wants 1/2 of the season or more. I only use a handful of games. Willing to do this for just 2012, or for multi-years if you are interested. Playoff rights included proportionate to what you buy. Willing to be flexible to accommodate your needs. Full season price for the pair of tickets is $5129.

If you are interested, or have questions or would like more information, please email me at jeff (at) deeney (dot) net.

Enjoy Section 109 Row 9 - 2 Tickets Field Boxes

We are looking for a Cubs fan interested in 8 or 16 games to join our Cubs ticket group. These two seats are located in Section 109 directly across from the Cubs Bullpen, 22 rows from the field. This is a fun section, full of Cubs fans and plenty of foul balls. You will receive the hard tickets not a copy all at face value.

As a member of our small group you will also have equal opportunity for the Red Sox, White Sox, Cardinals and playoff tickets at face value.

If interested or have any questions email me at dmacst@gmail.com.

Thanks

2 tickets in section 242, row 5

I got out of the bleachers into what I consider great seats for the money. Terrace Reserve Outfield section 242, row 5. Great view with no obstructions, and a good amount of sunlight for those chilly early and late season games. I also got the contact information for the 2 seats next to mine, so if you need 4 for any games we can buy theirs (or sell ours to them if they are in need).

I’d consider 50/50 split or anything else you’re interested in, with playoff rights corresponding to the %.

email asilca@yahoo.com if you want to work something out.

Thanks!

I have 4 seats in Terrace Reserved Infield 233, row 16 on the aisle

I have a full season package in section Infield Terrace Reserved 233, row 16, seats 101-104. The seats are under the cover but not obstructed by poles or overhang at all. The seats are on the inside aisle, so you are not facing the aisle’s foot traffic. There is a TV positioned perfectly above the seats which is great for replays.

Season ticket face value per ticket for these seats is : $13.44- Bronze, $25.76- Silver, $34.72- Gold, $47.04- Platinum, and $54.88-Marquee.

I can break off a package of any size at face value. The package can include Boston and/or White Sox games at face value if your package includes some games from my list of games that I know I won’t be using (email for that list). I am also open to splitting the full season 50/50 or 2/3 draft-style with proportional playoff rights (lock in your Word Series tickets now!).

Response to "E-Man"

Actually it’s my 2nd post, top post (section 208) is different section and different person. I updated with more details and games list to try and make things simpler for people, as well as try to answer ANY questions that some may have, as more information will simplify things. Clearly you’re quick to make comments, yet don’t even read the posts and who they’re from…if anyone has other questions or wants singles, or smaller packs they can email me. However IF you’d like I could take time out of my day and update EVERY sale & revision just for you pal. I didn’t see a post from you listing any of your tickets on here to defray the costs of 81 games, but I’m sure that if/ when you do that you’d want to make sure that everyone is as informed as possible too. So either request some games or find something else to post on and quit wasting my time. If there was a problem with my two posts, I’m sure Al would mention something, or adjust/ remove one of them. I didn’t know you were the BCB police…

Looking to sell off some season tickets (5-10 games or more/less)

I have a couple sets of ST – one set is in 242 Row 2 – Great seats in the sun . The other set is in 523 Row 2. This section is behind home plate and next to the press box with great views of the whole park.
If you are looking for a couple games or a larger block of tickets, I am willing to sell them at face value. Obviously, I’m not looking to sell off the best games only. But, if you have a couple games or even one game you are interested in, please send me an email. If you want to buy a larger block of games, we can work that out, too. Excellent Terrace Seats make your own pack ( all Boston WS, Tigers & Opening day available)

Make your own package to fit your own schedule , just don’t cherry pick the games.

I am trying to be more organized this year especially since my largest buyer just moved.
I have two very nice Terrace Reserve Infield seats Sect 209 row 11 ( first two seats in from 211). They are dead center of the row so no post blockage from any angle and you will never have to get up to let someone leave but not a good idea if you like to get up a lot A number of BCB have used my seats over the years and they all loved them.

As many of you know I live in NYC and only make about 20 games.
I am willing to sell packages from 5 games on up that reflect the overall schedule in terms of type of game (bronze, silver, gold, platinum & premium) as well as spread throughout the season. If you order at least 9 you can a Red Sox or White Sox game. I will be using most but not all Cards games. All packages face value which will vary by selection.

Contact me as maddux2014 at gmail.com if interested.

Split Season Ticket package with us

Hello fellow Cubs fans. Here is your chance to be a season ticket holder (for this year and many more if you so choose.)
We have four seats together with the Combo Plan. Which means we have tickets to all the night, weekend, and holiday games (total of 55 games this year.) We want to sell half of those tickets to a partner, face value of course.
We have divided this year’s games into two lists, "A" and "B". You pick whichever half you want. Fair enough? We obviously believe the two lists are equal because we are happy to take whichever list you don’t prefer. (The ONLY game not on either list is opening day- we are keeping that one to keep our streak going.)
When it comes to playoff games, also an even split. We get the first game, you get the second, we get the third, you get the fourth, etc.

Seats are located in:
Aisle 431
Row 8
Seats 103-106

These are upperdeck seats. It is actually a really good view of the game. If you don’t take our word for it, go to the Cubs website and examine the seating and pricing chart. You will notice that our section (Upper Deck Infield) is priced the same or higher than more than half of the seats in the lower deck. Why? Because they are as good or better seats! Added bonus, these seats are two rows away from being as close to the men’s room as possible. Trust me, it pays off.

Terrace Box Infield Row 2 and 3, Sec. 229

15 games available from a Daily Plan. Pick 11 minimum. 2nd and 3rd Row. FACE Value.

4 Seats in package, three in a row, one behind third seat, in “piggy-back” fashion.

Killer seats right at 1B, Sec 229, Terrace Box Infield, TWO seats off the isle. Because there are only 5 seats in the rows, and one side is bordered by a railing, the feeling is almost like a private box and, steps from a ramp down to the main concourse.

The seats get some sun but are also covered by the Upper Deck Roof.

These are being offered as a minimum of three together. Ideally all four.

I will consider splitting but will give preference to those buyers who wish 3 or 4.

Choose a minimum of 11 games from the list below. All tickets are at Face value – See pics below for view and seat details.

4/7/12 12:05 PM Nationals at Cubs $55 × 12% X4
4/21/12 12:05 PM Reds at Cubs $55 "
5/5/12 12:05 PM Dodgers at Cubs $55
5/28/12 1:20 PM Padres at Cubs [Memorial Day] $55
6/25/12 7:05 PM Mets at Cubs $65
6/30/12 3:05 PM Astros at Cubs $74
7/13/12 1:20 PM D-backs at Cubs $55
7/18/12 7:05 PM Marlins at Cubs $65
7/27/12 1:20 PM Cardinals at Cubs $74
8/1/12 1:20 PM Pirates at Cubs $55
8/13/12 7:05 PM Astros at Cubs $55
8/29/12 7:05 PM Brewers at Cubs $45
8/31/12 1:20 PM Giants at Cubs $55
9/20/12 1:20 PM Reds at Cubs $24

Opportunities exist to trade among other group members.

WANTED: Season Ticket Partners

I picked up two season tickets in section 222, row 15 this past weekend and am looking for two more partners (20 games per partner….though if that doesn’t work out I may end up allowing for 5 or 10 game blocks). Looking to do a straight draft on the tickets with all the partners (actual ticket cost total of games chosen), with everyone getting rights to post-season tickets and right of first refusal on all subsequent seasons.

I didn’t find out that I got to purchase them until the last minute because of the Cubs sending the info to an old address, so I’m scrambling now!

Thanks!

It’s your first year and you scored those seats? WTF? I “upgraded” my seats to something worse than those in December. Early bird gets the crap seats I guess.

Season Ticket Partner Wanted-- Section 427, Row 2

I have the combination plan (55 games, nights and weekends) for two seats in section 427, Row 2.

I am looking for a partner to split at least 1/2 of the games with, although this number is definitely flexible.

Of course, any partner would be entitled to the equivalent number of playoff games. Also, a partner will have the first right of refusal for future seasons.

Trying to contact STH in section 233 row 20

Crazy enough to buy season tickets in Jan. when my number was pulled. I have seats 103 and 104, row 20, in section 233. I’m trying to contact the person with tickets on either side of me to swap tickets for as many games as possible so I can take family or friends and they can do the same. The reality of an 81 games season is settling in. Any ideas on the best way to reach someone near my seats?

did you try asking your ticket rep?

maybe even just seeing if they would forward your contact info?

Tried that, not much help

I tried to explain what I was trying do to, but they didn’t seem too interested in helping out. Both times i talked to someone they said I should just wait until opening day. I was hoping there was some forum that could help me out.

I've asked for two years now

With no success. Never met the people who “owned” the seats next to me last year, maybe this year I will in my new seats.

Interested In Becoming A Partner For Some Of The Best Seats In The Ballpark?

We have two season ticket seats in section 427, row 10. There 18 games available for a partner to come on board. Included this year will be two Cardinals games, both White Sox games and a Red Sox game. Partner will get right of first refusal on future seasons.

These are among the very best seats in the ballpark. Here’s why:

- Perfect sitelines for the entire ballpark, especially the hitter (see pictures).
- Middle of the row—no one will ever have to pass in front of you. Ever. Plus, no one walking down the steps toward their seats will ever obstruct your view.
- Row 10 is along the upper deck walkway, so feel free to jump over the rail right into your seats. Easy in, easy out.
- Food and drink vendors lean right over your seat to serve you.
- Prime foul ball-catching area—I have already gotten four there.
- No seats behind you means no one will kick your seats during the game.
- Only a 30-second walk to the upper deck patio.
- Always covered from rain—leave your umbrella home.
- Right in front of the tunnel to the ladies’ restroom, with … ahem … all the attendant benefits thereto.

Section 142 on the Wall

Season ticket holder here looking to help offset some of my costs by selling some games. I will sell most games at face value+tax, which is cheaper then you could get them on tickets.com.

I am right on the brick wall in Section 142. You can reach out and catch a fair ball if you wanted to, though I don’t recommend it! :)

Send me an email at: jlinchec@hotmail.com with what games you would like!

Infield Upper Deck seats for sale - Behind Home Plate

I have two seats on the aisle in Sec 515 Row 2. This section is behind home plate and directly next to the press box. (Towards third base). These are great seats with a nice view of the field, and you can see into the press box, too!
I am flexible in the games I am going to watch, so I can sell almost any game if you are interested. The price is face value (and even less if you want any April games), and these are the cheapest seats in the park! The prime games are gone (Red Sox, White Sox, Opening Day), but almost any other game is left. If you are interested, please send me an email and let me know – hof1998@gmail.com

Cubs By The Numbers

Cubs By The Numbers is a history of the ballclub by uniform number, but the biographies help trace the history of our beloved team in a new way. For everyone who's a Cubs fan, anyone who ever wore the uniform is like family. Cubs By The Numbers reintroduces readers to some of their long-lost ancestors, even ones they think they already know.
