I'm not sure I follow this logic
Even assuming these two points
1. Pujols will be paid more than ARod
2. ARod is overpaid
That does NOT mean that Pujols will be overpaid. I mean, he MIGHT, but there is no logic behind these two statements that support that contention.
I don’t buy the contention that players (employees) would be more content with an standardized/incentive salary either.
Correction
1. Pujols will be paid more than ARod
1. Pujols > ARod
