It's not related

to the arm stiffness he had in the same arm last year. /s

Mark Prior

Rich Harden… what’s the difference?

Maybe next year is finally our year.

Harden has been a lot more productive

I always turn to the sports section first. The sports page records people's accomplishments; the front page has nothing but man's failures.

well

Harden career WAR (fangraphs) is 16.8, Prior is 15.8. And that’s with his being worth -.2 WAR over the last 5 seasons. Prior deserves some credit for being ridiculously good during the beginning of his career (2003 being one awesome season)

by PrincetonCubs on Feb 18, 2011 8:19 AM CST up reply actions

And...

… Harden has had exactly one season in his career (2004) when he didn’t miss a start due to injury.

“Why does this not surprise me?” crossed my mind when I read the headline.

I chuckled

I expect a follow up article for Mr. Prior anyday now…

Careful

The ‘hand slap’ police will get you. They will say to ignore the post. I say this as a true public service.

True

But if one were to willingly drive one’s car into a lightpost, there’s bound to be a few rubberneckers who will stop and comment.

The point is…

Don’t drive into lightposts.

…and take pictures with a fine camera to post to the internet.

It's my BCB civic duty to:

(1) Comment on any de-recommendation feature requests

and

(2) Comment on any and all former Cubs updates.

Remember when some posters ...

were really upset that the Cubs didn’t re-sign Harden after 2009? Good non-move by Jimbo on that one.
