Can Silva make it as a Relief Pitcher?
Their has been discusion on this site on whether the Cubs should drop Silva and eat his contract.
I wanted to ask BCBers, could he make it in the Pen as a right handed specialist?
This could make sense because of his inability to stay healthy and the money he's owed. I also found that his ERA against righties from 2002-2010 was 4.10, while playing mostly in the AL. So it could be a fall back plan.
