This was our 7th spring training game in 7 days. Is it my imagination, but no offense gets going until the starters are out of the game. Wells did look very sharp as the game's start have not see anything from the offensive starters. Even Colvin, who tore it up out here last year looks off. Fokudome is hitting the ball hard, but usually at somebody. The best play I have seen so far was, Wellington Castillo throwing out anAngel runner, in a previous game, by 4 feet even after he had to regrip the ball once. It was amazing. Will he make the team as a back-up catcher? Regarding, the attendance, no trouble getting tickets, by walk-up, right before the game, even though the scalpers outside the park will tell you the game is sold out. Did try to buy Lawn seat tickets for Sat. game but was told Lawn was sold out. Could be more people are coming into town as Spring Training moves into the middle of the month. Regarding concessions, to me, it is way out of line to charge 8 bucks for a hot dog at a spring training game. We sure did not get a free hat at the game today, for Ron Santo Day.
