Angel Guzman On The Comeback Trail
You can't help but root for a good guy like this. I hope he makes it all the way back.

If he's healthy, at least
he doesn’t appear to be blocked. (Half-glass full)
How big is your half glass?
Why wouldn’t you simply take a full size glass and fill it half way? It seems you went to way too much trouble on this one.
Come on we’re Cub fans we look at said glass of water and ask when’s it gonna spill?"
Nothing happens unless it's first a dream

Here's one more hoping Guzman can make it back.
Kid’s a class act.
And we don’t want to be making any half-glassed comments, now do we?
I meant glass half-full
I was sleepy, and there’s no edit feature.
Maybe I scanned over this ...
but is there any timeframe on his return? It would be pretty killer if Angel was back in say July, when the Cubs need bullpen reinforcements.
No timeframe yet.
But the article says he’s going to start facing hitters. Maybe midseason wouldn’t be out of the question. I assume he’ll stay at extended spring training and then eventually be assigned to a team — maybe Daytona, so he can pitch in warm weather instead of the cold of Iowa.
Check out Chicago sports coverage at SB Nation Chicago
The fact that he's pitching at all is impressive
If he can become a major league reliever at all, it’s a bonus. I’m rooting for the kid

Amazing that we are even talking about a comeback.
"What do you think, I just dunked my whole career?" Jordan asked Henderson after making a 3.
"You’ve got to miss eventually," Henderson told him.
"That’s what Cleveland said," replied Jordan
Anyone know why he's so injury prone?
Is it a mechanics thing, or just a few freak incidents?

I wouldn't call it freak.
His body may not be able to take the wear and tear. He wouldn’t be the first.
John Grabow: $4.8 million in 2011.
at least he has earned some cash- $2 million so far
some great prospects get hurt in the minors and end up making nothing. I’m very sympathetic to his injuries and what might have been, but at least he has earned some nice money. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/guzmaan01.shtml
ask not what the Cubs can do for you - ask what you can do for the Cubs.
If he manages his money right,
he should be in good shape for life financially.
