You didn't even read it, did you.

Jessica will be very upset with you.

Very cool Doggie Stalker!

Um I would prefer not to spread that one

but for the record it is little mixed up. I never said Fuld crashed into walls on POP UPS.
I had “met” the writer when he I found his web site and noticed a few small errors on
Adam Greenberg and Fuld after which I kept him up to date on Fuld, I am now following
Grabow for the site. I never realized before he wrote it that Scott himself was so skeptical that Fuld could hit.

I do....I find the Sam Fuld story interesting

not only cuz he was a former Cub but also cuz he’s diabetic. My nephew was just diagnosed with it and is also an athlete and knowing how well Fuld does is very comforting.

Some of us are interested in how Sam Fuld does...

those who don’t want to read about former Cubs players can skip the posts. Or maybe read the newspapers? Oh wait, the Chicago Tribune wrote about Sam Fuld and his play against the White Sox too. You can’t escape…

I mean...

I don’t have anything against the guy, and I hope he does well in Tampa. But just because one person on this site was completely obsessed with the guy, now we get new posts on him every other day. It’s just a bit much for a site focused on the Chicago Cubs.

Jim Hendry agrees.

John Grabow: $4.8 million in 2011.

I've said it before and I'll say it again

The real obsession is what other posters have with Jessica’s “obession”. I swear there are 10X more comments about Jessica and Fuld than there are comments from Jessica about Fuld.

+1

True as well about her stances on ticket sales (or 40 man rosters), but she does post a lot more of her thoughts on those topics so maybe more like 2x for them.

There's like 7 posts on the side bar about Sam Fuld.

Yes, on this page there are.

Because everything that gets tagged with his name appears here.

On the front page, not so much.

I don't care about Sam Fuld.

But anytime Doggie Stalker is in the news, it’s important that this community be aware. I heard the Sun-Times is going to be interviewing her regarding poor ticket sales very soon.

if you dont like this post, take a look

at the current fanposts/shots….I see a few other non-Cubs stuff in there, and I bet at least one of those may be something you are interested in. I, myself never read the McCourt/Dodgers stuff, I did read the Glanville post about Manny and skipped the one about his plaque….simple really :)

If only there were a blog I could go to with periodic postings on this Fuld's progress :)

And slightly off topic and meant with all due respect – why are Jewish people so aware of who in baseball is Jewish and who isn’t? As a lapsed Catholic and current free agent, I have no clue what religion players are. I think Santo was Catholic because I think I remember him doing the sign of the cross before an at bat. And I don’t even know if I remember that or imagined it.

Any Jewish BCBers able to clue me in?

by the nth on Apr 18, 2011 6:52 PM CDT reply actions

Because there are very few Jewish baseball players

and there are more Jewish baseball players than any other profesional sport. It is rare and thus it gets some attention but not in terms of religion as a belief system. We went through this in another thread, but Fuld is Jewish by heritage not by religious belief which is true of many Jews.

Hope that helps.

"The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg"

this documentary on DVD is required viewing for anyone who loves baseball history. I’ve watched it several times and it never gets old..
