Hi Cubs Fans, Not a Diehard but always liked the Cubs

Wrigley Field. A great place to spend a summer afternoon.

Hi Cubs Fans,

I'm a new commenter here at sbnation so hello and it's a great community so far. First of all I like a lot of different sports teams including baseball so I hope most of you aren't too upset if I'm not just a Cubs fan but I do like watching them a lot when they play. I am a Brewers fan also so it's hard when the Cubs and Brewers play each other. I liked it better when the Brewers were in the AL and the Cubs were in the NL. So I root for the Cubs except when they play the Brewere much like I like the Red Sox in the AL and the Rangers second there. Anyway I've been to four actually three Cubs games as one was a rainout unfotunately at Wrigley vs the Dodgers in 1996. I saw a 17 inning loss to the Expos in 1992 at Wrigley. Harry Caray sang Take Me Out to the Ballgame Twice, Greg Maddux pitched and Mark Grace hit a game tying homer in the ninth before the Cubs eventually lost. In April 1991 I saw the Cubs lose a heatbreaking 13-12 game in 11 innings to the Pirates where the Cubs had two 5 run leads in the game and it was a miserable 40 degree rainy day. Finally in 2003 I saw the Cubs win in Houston vs the Astros in a season where the Cubs beat the Astros by one game for division so that game really mattered in the end. Well nice talking to you and best wishes to you and the Cubs for a good season 3-3 heading to Milwaukee. Looking forward to a fun weekend.
