time for beef to sink or swim
Chronologically inept since 2060
Q: Why did Chuck Norris cross the road?

Unless he's an idiot
he’ll probably sink.

Uhm, you do realize Beef's defensive abilities are subpar, right?
We’re going to be wanting Soto back by the weekend
Geo on the DL has no has no bearing on people wanting him back by the weekend

How about putting him on the Concussion DL?
They could say he got hurt letting the little head do the thinking for the big head.

I know
But’s the only thing I could think of to get him back faster short of having one of his relatives fake a death so he could go on the bereavement list.

Am I the only one
fearful that Beef will start once every 3 or 4 days?
While not a swell defender (a push with Hill), he does hold the potential to be an offensive spark.

I, for one, welcome the resumption of the Koyie Hill era that was so rudely interrupted by the intermittent health of Geo.

I'm glad the whole world can watch Hill tonight on ESPN...
…this world we live in needs a good laugh. I’ll watch on CSN, though.

Cards will almost certainly pull-in their infield
Thereby totally negating Koyie’s primary offensive weapon, the surprise bunt..
I'm wet nurse to a last-place, dead-to-the-neck-up ball club, and I'm choking to death!
Useless against his secondary weapon
The surprise home run.
Well, I was freakin’ surprised…

to the ones he’ll hit the rest of the way…I’m thinking you’ll still have a total of one.

There is no excuse for starting Koyie Hill tonight.
Where have you gone, Kiko Calero. A nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
Beef was playing last night in Colorado Springs
I guess that’ll be the excuseplanation.

I’m saying it’s a reason – not necessarily a good one.

Well neither of them are very good.
But I see you’re point. They need to be using the younger guy, who can at least hit better.

Finally
Soto has been blocking Koyie Hill for too long now. This has been like when Thome was blocking Ryan Howard. This is going to be so awesome for our future, getting Koyie this big chance to take his rightful place in the lineup for years to come. I hope he bats third.

Let's see...
if they put Soto on the DL for 15 days, that probably means 18-20 days figuring in a rehab trip to Peoria or Dayton. Over/under Hill starting 5 games?
