Soriano actually tries pretty hard.

Managing a major league baseball team is more than putting Womack at lead off, Gonzalez at the 3 spot and Schilling and Johnson every 5th day. But, since you are Connie Mack Jr., you already know that. Just because he has kind words for 2 players who he knows personally, does not mean he is any less knowledgable about the game.

Brenly has a habit of praising lesser players for their grit and hustle. In other words, he likes to talk up the shitty players. Meanwhile, when Soriano hits a long homer all Bob can do is criticize the way he runs the bases.

He shows his bias nearly every single game. It’s strange.

This is about what I would expect from you.

Outside of ridiculous sarcasm and over the top pessimism, you really offer very little to the discussion.

Your best work is weak links between Quade and Essian and calling out players for making too much money. You bring it in to every thread – even those that have nothing to do with the Cubs, for that matter – and aren’t able to have a serious argument without moving goalposts or telling someone to “blow it out their ass.”
