Right you are...

A bit of research reveals it’s an ad for Gillette.

Still, a fun watch.

See the below pic....proves my point....

Keep believing your boy is a ML outfielder!

When did he say Sori was "his boy?"

Here is a Sori defender!!!!

cubswynn loves the lazy players!!!!

Of course I didn't.

He often doesn’t have good arguments, so he just makes stuff up.

Ay-oh!

We'll all miss you Ron.

by alkappy on May 13, 2011 11:32 AM CDT up reply actions

that would be awesome....

guys having to try all the time, managers trying to save their jobs by playing the best players and not the ones with the biggest contracts…..

Soriano would be in big trouble…

by TJ11 on May 13, 2011 11:56 AM CDT up reply actions

Soriano actually tries pretty hard.

It’s well known around the league that he is one of the hardest working players. So unless you know more than the guys playing with him, I’d say you’re completely wrong.

by lj121711 on May 13, 2011 12:42 PM CDT up reply actions

So have yet to see him loaf?

Brenly said it on the air the other day when he said Soriano was known as a guy who does not always hustle out of the box….

Everybody sees it but you I guess…

by TJ11 on May 13, 2011 12:56 PM CDT up reply actions

His constant praise of Theriot and Eckstein tell me otherwise.

Plus, I could have won a world series managing the 2001 Diamondbacks. They were very good.

by lj121711 on May 13, 2011 2:11 PM CDT up reply actions

I just have to laugh when I see

“I could have won with that team.” or “I could have hit that pitch.” Nope, not even close. Managing a major league baseball team is more than putting Womack at lead off, Gonzalez at the 3 spot and Schilling and Johnson every 5th day. But, since you are Connie Mack Jr., you already know that. Just because he has kind words for 2 players who he knows personally, does not mean he is any less knowledgable about the game.

Trade me right f@#$ing now!

by Mister Zero on May 13, 2011 2:23 PM CDT up reply actions

Well no kidding. I don't actually think I could manage the team. You missed the point.

Brenly has a habit of praising lesser players for their grit and hustle. In other words, he likes to talk up the shitty players. Meanwhile, when Soriano hits a long homer all Bob can do is criticize the way he runs the bases.

He shows his bias nearly every single game. It’s strange.

by lj121711 on May 13, 2011 2:29 PM CDT up reply actions

Haha, your reply is "blow it out your ass"

Along with an attack on something I’m not even arguing, and you expect some kind of rebuttal?

You need to give in order to get.

Rec'd

It’s along the lines of Blou in that I can’t stand half the crap he says and yet I know I shouldn’t respond. He’s looking for attention (that’s why he loves promoting a made up BCB character) and we’d probably be better off not reacting.

Atleast

BLou was entertaining. I enjoyed his originality. Give credit where credit is due sir!

The question is...whether he would have tried for it at all.....

It did look like he hit…since the batter was standing and watching it….

by TJ11 on May 13, 2011 10:43 AM CDT up reply actions

Are you crazy?!?!?!

Soriano’s catching skills are AMAZING!!!!!!!

by ubercubsfan on May 13, 2011 10:35 AM CDT up reply actions

I didn't say that and you know it.

You seem to like the strawman argument. It’s making you look very petty.

by lj121711 on May 13, 2011 12:46 PM CDT up reply actions

Funny to who? You?

That makes it even worse that you think it’s funny when you overreact. lol
