That's right

The wrap is all written except for Boise. Listening to the Hawks online right now.

I usually wait up for them, but it is getting late over on the East Coast...

Looks like they took it away from him

The single is now listed as an error on Jerry Sands.

by Josh Timmers on Jun 18, 2011 1:18 AM CDT reply actions

Wow. What a crappy move.

You officially awarded it a single to give him the cycle and you take it away!? Don’t mess with it.

by Ryno G on Jun 18, 2011 2:11 AM CDT up reply actions

I thought it stunk

when they took that HR away from him the other night. This really stinks.

Fasten those seat belts...

what a tough year he has had...

I hope he just goes ballistic on them this series…

I was kind of worried, as the announcers didn't really say much on the hit.

I couldn’t tell if it was hit well or the guy just made a mistake…that is stupid that they would make that kind of change…sounds like a home town decision because they realized he hit for the cycle…that should be protested, but I don’t know if it can be overturned

guess it makes those 3 runs in the 9th "unearned" that is B.S.

Call him up...

…while he’s hot! We need to see Colvin for an entire season—-win, lose, or draw. – TL

"Sir,--It has been wittily remarked that there are three kinds of falsehood: the first is a 'fib,' the second is a downright lie, and the third and most aggravated is statistics." *The National Observer* (June 13, 1891): p. 93-94.

One game doesn't make you hot.

He needs to find his swing for an extended period before we call him up.

With the 1st pick in the 2012 Baseball Amateur Draft, the Chicago Cubs select...

by Easy Ed on Jun 18, 2011 2:07 PM CDT up reply actions

he

needs to remember how to hit mlb pitching, this was a tough loss for the cubs.

by NOMAR on Jun 19, 2011 3:24 PM CDT reply actions

Why bother?

No sense in calling him up, he’ll just ride the bench. He needs some regular at-bats, to string a few games together and get a second look next spring. I don’t think he’ll ever hit for much average, but he’s got enough pop to start everyday as a complimentary piece. Plus, he’s pretty good defensively. I prefer his ceiling over anything Byrd can provide.

Can't we go ahead and officially replace Wayne Messmer with Dwight Smith?
