Can we lose this H&S "hats off chicago" Twitter feed?
Hey Al -
Any chance we can get rid of this Head and Shoulders hats off chicago twitter feed? It's slowing down the site and it's the same boring blah, blah, blah garbage. It ads nothing, and since I have ad-blocked the rest of the ad, I hadn't the slightest idea of who was trying to sell me what until I opened up the page in another browser. (now I see that it is head and shoulders - what a lame promotion).
Is anybody else having a problem with this, or have you noticed the site slowing down since this ad came up?

I have noticed it being slow.....
…. but this site always has problems. I will say the content of the H&S ad is incredibly lame, and I hope never to meet Tara Yavorsky.

Unfortunately, we can't.
It’s a paid ad. As I have mentioned before, I have no control over advertising. I don’t know how long the ad campaign runs.

Doesn't work for me.
It blocks out the surrounding advertising, but not the twitter feed itself.
I think I speak for everyone here when I say, "Wait, what the hell are you talking about?"
Their campaign has been a complete bust
Nobody cares, there have been two tweets since Sunday AM. And since the only reference to Tara online elsewhere is for a marketing professional for a company called “Resource Interactive” someplace in Ohio, I’m willing to wager that she’s affiliated with the ad campaign.
It's a simple question, Doctor: would you eat the moon if it were made of ribs??
Well, they may not be filtering it. Maybe time for some anti head and shoulders tweets.

Poster BoVandy has invaded the ad....
Apparently they don’t check the ad content that often.

I deleted your post of the content there.
I’m not real happy that’s there. I certainly didn’t need it posted in the comments here.

Now I'm seeing something about NBF and SenorGato.
As if we needed any more arguments between those two.

Those two get along pretty well.
But the tweet did make me laugh.
