Al asks us to start one in the fanshots if they don't automatically post
for whatever reason. It appears SB Nation might have had some issues earlier tonight.

SB Nation has been iffy during the last week

Depends on the situation for me.
Bunting situation- Campana
Anyother-Z
Well yeah but if Z gets a hit..then PR Campana..
he’s only good on the bases sad to say.

Better chance to win the game with one swing.
Quade can’t figure out that Campana is a pinch runner, not a pinch hitter.
Wildly effective..or wildly ineffective??

SBNation makes their money off ads
And you can cram more ads on a website than you can in an app
Can you see that many ads on the mobile site?
I only see them right at the top. They can make an app with that many ads or more
I don't own a mobile device, so I never go to the mobile site
And I don’t see ads on the full site because I use ABP
An API! My sports blog for an API!

Long ball game tonight time wise.

I'll vote for that.

Difference between Byrd and Campana
Byrd: RUns hard, doesn’t make it, cuts the ball off
Campana: Runs harder, doesn’t make it, dives for the ball and runner ends up at 3rd
I don't think he judges it well off the bat.

Go Bucs.
We took friends from Pennsylvania Saturday, they go to see the Pirate flag flying on the top. The only other time I can remember that is on April 2 this year. And crap, gives up two.
If anyone else has to be in first in the NL Central, I’m glad it’s them.

I am not a Quade basher..
but look at what a good manager can do for a team that is not stacked with talent.
Phillies anouncers were talking about Marshall's inherited runner scoring %
was worse than the NL average, but with no runners on base, he does very well.
Also another reason to have taken Garza out..especially if the numbers are right in front of u.

I guess Quade was scared
Garza was going to yell at him like Dempster did
He's scared of confrontation anymore..
not to mention not arguing that call at 2nd the other night.

You know the banner ads behind home plate?
One day I want to see one that says Cubs.com: Sponsored by crippling despair.

… being surrounded by all these loser players who dont give a damn anymore and seeing all this losing and being taught bad habits from these clown coaches. They say bad habits are easier to pick up than to give up. kinda like smoking I guess.LOL

We were 21.5 games under on September 1, 2010. Gonna have to wait at least two more games to break new ground.

Holy crap this team sucks!!
At the beginning of the year...
the starters sucked and the bullpen was decent…now the starters are decent and the bullpen sucks. That’s why this team is 20 games under .500.

When your starting pitchers are
Halladay, Lee and Hamels, you don’t need a lot of runs or a bullpen.
I wondering why I got talked into going out tonight to watch this game.
God love Matt Garza.
And his attitude towards the game and the team.
R.I.P. to my grandfather, Andrew Wiley
The reason I am a Cub fan forever
I got talked into going out tonight
to watch the game by my friends, all Phillies fans.
It was fun for 7 innings. Wasn’t too much fun for the last 2 innings.
Just wore my 1914 Cubs hat and my Pronger Team Canada Shersey. Oh well!
At least the food was good and I drank some great beer!
Well I saw the end of the game at Buffalo Wild wings and just had one question...
Perhaps it was discussed earlier…..
I totally understood bringing in marshall to face the tough LH batters in the 8th…It did not work out, but it was the correct move…..
So why did he even come out to pitch the 9th? Why is he facing the RH batters…We do have have Wood and Marmol down there right? Even Shark if you are scared to pitch the other 2….Again this seems like the bullpen was not managed correctly in the 9th.
I feel for Garza…..He seems like a good pitcher and a better teammate. That is 2 gems in a row the pen has blown for him.
I heard from a guy that
Garza chews with mouth open and the cubs pen does not appreciate it.
That’s what I heard.

We had some extremely strong stormy winds last night,
I was woken up by the noise just in time to hear the game go down the tube.
