Honest question for my fellow BCBers

I have an honest question for my fellow BCBersWe all talk a good game. Yes we're willing to watch rebuilding and live through a couple of bad years if the light is at the end of the tunnel. But honestly if for a few years we'd have to live through low payroll and a team of young developing players and watching them grow into something would we really accept it? What if we could see keep long term commitments low so when it is time to add the last few pieces the money is available not spending 30 million in an offseason to win 85 games and go nowhere with veterans over letting some kids go through growing pains and win 75-80. I think the diehard fans and the knowledgeable fans would see the forest for the trees. It's time possible Ricketts and co. understand this. Don't pander to the fans that just look at the bottom line. Take a chance on a young hungry GM with a vision with a veteran baseball lifer as the team President. Hire a veteran manager with yes I said it Ryno as his bench coach for 2 years.
