Even Yankees Players Think Their Games With The Red Sox Are Too Long
Quote from Mark Teixeira in the article:
"It’s brutal," said Teixeira, the Yankees’ first baseman. "I can’t stand playing a nine-inning game in four hours. It’s not baseball. I don’t even know how to describe it. If I was a fan, why would I want to come watch people sitting around and talking back and forth, going to the mound, 2-0 sliders in the dirt? Four-hour games can’t be fun for a fan, either."

ESPN never met a Red Sox/Yankees game
that it couldn’t stretch out interminably. Even non-Sawk/Yanks games seem to get longer every year. It’s pretty obnoxious.

As a fan of the game in general
I actually enjoy watching this series quite a bit, even even if it lasts 4 hours, the intensity of play just keeps me hooked.
and I love watching them get whine and get stomped by the BoSox

"2-0 sliders in the dirt?"
This may be one of my new favorite quote snippets.

Don’t start watching the game until at least an hour after the game starts. Then, just fast forward between the at-bats, pitching changes, and innings. The game won’t seem so long then.
Good things come to those who wait... and wait....and wait.
Mr. Teixeira
Swing at a first pitch on occasion then.
Thanks.
Everybody
I'm a Cubs fan. The Jaded Bitterness comes as a Standard Feature.
Watch a Pedrioa
AB and no wonder the games go forever. It is Nomar Jr. with the adjustment of batting gloves. They said last night Beckett takes on the average 23 seconds between pitches.
Nice.
Add Alfonso Marquez to the list of lousy umpires
At least two questionable strike zone calls that contributed to the Yankees win tonight.
Puh-leaze
Traditionalists have fought every meaningful attempt to shorten games.
