As we are all well aware, the end of the season is at hand for the Cubs. They have just embarked on the final road trip of the season with the historical St. Louis to San Diego swing.
Many questions face the Cubs. Who will be the new GM? What players will be kept, cut lose, and acquired? What will cause the first off-season BCB meltdown and when will it happen (we should absolutely have a prediction pool for this, BTW)?
But the most pressing current question is simple: how did Mike Quade pack for this road trip?
The Q has been an... ahem... interesting character for the Cubs this year. He has said (e.g., Nats are contenders, strike out on purpose, Matt) and done (you really need examples? See virtually any line-up) some ridiculous things and is clearly part of the reason for the extent of the Cubs' struggles this season.Yet, even as the season fell into, wallowed, and even bathed in baseball despair, Q remained upbeat, even as the vultures seemingly circle in anticipation.

So how do you think Quade packed for this final roadtrip?
He packed for each of the seven days of the trip, of course. When he gets back, he and T-Ricks are going to hunker down and figure out how to get this thing fixed. Together. (26 votes)
He packed his one lucky outfit he's been wearing all season. It has worked so well that, as a man I'm sure Quade thinks deserves the Ford C. Frick Award might say... "don't stop now, boys." (8 votes)
He packed all his things. I mean, seriously... even he has to know, right? And San Diego is a decent place to winter while you figure out where to take your talents for clapping and creating endearing nicknames next. (58 votes)
