I usually don't read the piffle that she spews out, but two of the headlines here made me chuckle.

You decide which one is more ridiculous - the one talking about Soriano and his "infectious energy" keeping The Untouchables' spirits up or...

How the Cubs are making a "late charge" (5-3 in the last 8 games! Break out the Champagne!)

Russian propaganda was NEVER this good.

Gotta love...

…those late charges when you are 20 games out!

Isnt she one of the Cub cronies?

I am trying to remember the last time she had anything hard hitting about the Cubs….

Soriano’s energy??? really? in a week he is bitching about his lineup spot…that is what she talks about….

She is basically their mouthpiece…..

Always good for a fluff piece on the Cubs!!!!

She's the cubs.com writer

so there’s clearly a conflict of interest to saying negative things.

For all intents and purposes,

she’s a marketing arm of the Cubs.

It’s not her fault, it’s her job.

LOL

Soriano gives us “infectious energy”. Forget that over the last 3 years, we’ve spent over $50 million for 3.8 WAR (total, not per season) from Soriano. His “IEARP” (Infectious Energy Above Replacement Player) is off-the-charts! Now I feel so much better about the $57 million we still owe him for the next three years.

If it wasn't so close to the end of the season I would have added

"IEARP" (Infectious Energy Above Replacement Player) is off-the-charts! as my tagline to describe the 2011 Cubs!!!!

Love

The use of the word “piffle.” It isn’t used nearly enough any more and it is so accurate in describing what is written in her articles. Well played sir.

Thanks Snoyman

It was the first word that came to mind when thinking about her.
