Cubs Mt. Rushmore

The boys in the ESPN baseball today podcast have spend the last week discussing the "Mt. Rushmore" for each team.  The rules are this:  What four players (or what eight--four pitchers and four position players) would be the best players in franchise history.  I am interested in everyone's opinion.  Also--it will be interesting to see, as the Cubs have some great players who played long before we, or even our parents, were born, what historical knowledge we have here on this wonderful site.

Al--I love your historical perspective--will you go first?

If this has been posted before, I am sorry.  I just thought it would be fun to think of our greatness in the midst of the horrible season.

Disclaimer:  I read this site dozens of times a day, but never post---if you don't have anything good to say, do not say anthing at all is my opinion.  So I know I have no cred--that aside--this is an interesting topic I believe.
