Forget Sandberg. Get Francona. That is all.

I like Ryan Sandberg and think he'd be a good manager for the Cubs.

But with Terry Francona reportedly about to get the axe in Boston, there's no question whatsoever as to who the Cubs should be looking at.

Mr. Francona, the Bobby Cox of the American League.

Mr. Quade, you have utilized over 120 million dollars of Cubs payroll and millions more in marketing, not to mention the social engineering phenomenon that energizes the Cubs fanbase for over a year. The results are clear. You have earned a well deserved retirement from the helm, sir.

Come on, Mr. Ricketts. Wake up and smell the pizza already.
