Would you be willing to trade for Phil Hughes?
Interesting bullet point by Jon Heyman. He suggests that Phil Hughes is one of the odd-men out with the Yankees and that they may be willing to trade him in the offseason. He also states that many view him as being another Ian Kennedy, where as a change of scenery could help him become the pitcher everyone projected him to be. With that being said, do you think the Cubs should go after Phil Hughes to add some starting pitching? If so, what would you be willing to trade to get him? Personally, I think he has some upside and that he may be a fine addition to the pitching staff. If we'd be able to trade for Hughes and sign CJ Wilson, the Cubs may be setting themselves up for a good turnaround.
