Zambrano happy with trade to Miami
The article includes this gem of a quote from Big Z:
"Unfortunately the last two years there was no mutual understanding on either side and many things happened."
I'm not exactly sure how to sensibly dissect that statement but many things did, indeed, happen and I'm pretty sure most of them weren't a result of Zambrano being misunderstood.

This isn't anything different than he said after any one of his meltdowns.
Now he has to match his actions to his words. He couldn’t do it in Chicago. I have my doubts he can do it in Miami.

My point exactly
We’ve heard it before.

Well, he either will or he won't.
If he doesn’t, there will be lots of heads nodding in a most knowingly fashion with the I told you so’s running the gamut from smug to gleeful.
But let’s say he does… BCB will be a most interesting place as the theories abound as to why Z could do it there but couldn’t do it here.
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."
He'll have to sustain it for me to begin to question why he couldn't do it here.
Like, two years without incident.
DUMP GARZA. CORRECT THE COSMIC WRONG.
The feeling is mutual.
I’m happy with his move to them also. He can take his under achieving, selfish act elsewhere.
'Never look down on anybody unless you're helping him up.'
Of course...
…he is happy, he is able to run away from his childish behaviors of the last several years and not have to face the music with his teamates and the local press that know him the best.
Carlos has proven he can be a very good pitcher when he is right, but he has also proven, he can have the emotional maturity of a 7 year old at the drop of a hat.

Glad that soap opera is over
I’m sure he and Ozzie will get along wonderfully. I fully expect some altercation or two. IMHO they deserve one another.

I think the feelings are mutual.
I am waiting for the flyball that drops and the 3 run jack that follows and the smirk on his face, the ball cap taken off walking off the mound and the same smirk. Just a matter of time.
He can't be any happier
with the trade then I am.

But... but....
He’s like the 12th best Cub pitcher ever, according to B#T%SZWAR and FL#!#$%IP and a bunch of other stuff THAT HAS NO FREAKING CONNECTION TO A PERSON’S MENTAL STATE AND HOW HE INTERACTS WITH HIS TEAMMATES AND WHETHER HE CAN BE COUNTED ON GOING FORWARD!!!!!
I mean, shouldn’t we be more sad about this?
"It's all in the game, yo"
Yeah, we should be sad that he didn't give two hoots
about respecting the uniform that he had been wearing for the last 10 years!
If you think you've seen it all...just wait!
