Cubs sign Kerry Wood

The Cubs have signed Kerry Wood to a one year $3 Million contract. In my mind this is great news. Kerry brings a great clubhouse presence and can help mentor some of the younger players. While I don't think the Cubs will contend this year I do think that it is money well spent. Those of us who remember his great years can only cheer and celebrate. He isn't keeping anyone young off the rooster and gives us so much in intangibles.

Cubs sign Wood!

I can't read fanshots

On the Android app. Am I doing something wrong or can you not see fanshots on the app?

no

for some reason, you can’t see fanshots on the SB app. If you go to the mobile site, I think you can.

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

Yikes!
He isn’t keeping anyone young off the rooster…

I know there’s an inappropriate barnyard-sex joke here, but I’m going to leave it be..

For More Than Sentimental Reasons..

it’s good to have Kerry for 2012. Wood still has a little life left in that arm. He should be a good 7th inning guy for the Cubs this season. Wood is more than a ROOGY.

Good things come to those who wait... and wait....and wait.

And lo,

the Cubs 2012 season will not be as bad as it could’ve been. Still will be 2000 miles from anything remotely called good but looks like it should avoid a 100 loss season or something in the ballpark (97-99).
