33% off Beer would be SWEET!
$5 beers would make it feel like 2005 all over again.
Braves think about concessions right
For a the handful of games I used to see in Turner Field each year from 2002-2004, I was always pleased to see what they did with concessions there. They were not cheap, but the portions provided were always bigger than most other parks provided and none of my friends or myself had an issue with the food quality. We didn’t perceive that we were being ripped off, which made us feel better about the whole game experience. I think it made me want to return to Turner for games in the future despite the normal traffic issues. I am sure that season ticket sales will increase due to this gesture. It’s a very smart move on their part IMHO.
I like how the isle vendors there stay stationed in an isle throughout the game,
As opposed to walking around. So, when you’re ready for a drink, the guy is right there.

I wonder how they'll execute this?
Will everyone be given a special card to present at time of purchase? Will you have to present your ticket, which may be printed differently? What’s in place to stop people from sharing the discount with others?

My guess is they'll issue an ID card.
Doesn’t stop people from sharing the card, but still you’d only get the discount with the card.

The Braves should tie the card in with a Georgia Indian Casino
Wait, that might not go over well…

STHs should get discounts like this.
The Cubs are not very STH-friendly, because they don’t have to be. It’s too bad.

The food at Wrigley is so bad...
…that everyone should get a discount on it.
