A Well-Researched Mock First Round
I say it's well-researched because they have film of many of the players in action. I'm starting my notebook to prep for the draft. The first day of college games is February 17th.
For those of you who don't want to look, this one leaves Gausman and Zunino (Gasp) on the board, with Theo Inc nabbing Walker Weichel, a 6-6 pitcher from a HS in Florida.

It may be well researched, but I don't think it's very accurate..
I don’t see any way in the world that Zunino slips past the 5th pick, and if Gausman is out of the top 10 it’s because he was injured or has major concerns moving forward.
I think there are some serious reaches and some unrealistic drops in the first round.
Obviously there is still an entire year to play through, but with where we are today, I don’t love this mock.
I included it for the clips.
I don’t see Zunino slipping (to or) past us.

Any mock draft that includes teams drafting based on "need" isn't trustworthy
A lot of the teams in the top 10 this season now have smart GMs who will take the player they think is the best on the board regardless of position.
