Just a couple of days after it appeared this would be a dull division series round with a couple of sweeps, dramatic walkoff wins Wednesday night have put a charge into this round, with the possibility that two teams could come back from 2-0 deficits -- one of them by winning three straight road games.
Today's time schedule is the same as yesterday's, with all four series in action, beginning very soon. The only difference is that the two N.L. series are swapping time slots; today, the Giants and Reds get the early-afternoon slot, with the Nats and Cardinals having to fight the late-afternoon shadows in Washington. All four host cities -- Cincinnati, Washington, New York and Oakland -- have no rain in the forecast; thus, the D.C. shadows should be the only issue for hitters, pitchers and fielders.
