Happy Thanksgiving From BCB

Have a wonderful holiday!

Yes, I know. The photo -- which is a Thanksgiving greeting card from 1900 -- shows a young boy holding what appears to be a football (although it could be a watermelon, given the color), trying to keep it away from an onrushing turkey.

You're probably thinking about football today, or turkey, or both. I'm thankful for all of you, who have made BCB the great place it is.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and family. The daily "Game From Cubs History" series will resume tomorrow. Erik Peterson will have Thanksgiving Cub Tracks later this morning.
