My vote would be Taijuan Walker, as the Cubs pitching deficiency is well documented, and he signed or 200k less than the Cubs actual pick, Hayden Simpson.

Yelich, Biddle, Castellanos, Syndergaard, Tyrell Jenkins, Olt, Zach Lee, Cowart, Gary Brown,Cody Buckel, Justin Nicolino, AJ Cole, James Paxton, and Kevin Gausman were still on the board, but sign ability would have been an issue for a 1M signing bonus.
