Who Is Your Least Favorite Theo Acquisition So Far?

It's nice to see some of the recent Cubs acquisitions getting respect. While some have been a bit on the less-flashy side, the Edwin Jackson move certainly wasn't.

The bullpen is being upgraded on the fly. Anthony Rizzo looks to be a keeper. That the team got anything for Marlon Byrd was a score. Many of the pickups have been off the field as well. The cadre of suits. New scouts. Computers added. A pitching guru from Vanderbilt.

To a large extent, many of Theo's moves have been steps along the way. Even the ones that haven't worked out (Concepcion and Stewart, to think of a pair) made a degree of sense at the time.

Now though, is your time to say what your least favorite Theo addition was. Realize that how he did since then can't really have much bearing on your decision. To be a bad move, the reasoning should have been apparent from the start. Predict the expected responses. (If Lendy, who was the right reliever to keep instead? If Concepcion, acknowledge or dispute the quid pro quo possibility with Soler.)

So, fire away with your reasoning on what the worst transaction has been in the 14 months of the new regime,

Large can of worms is now open. Be nice, so Al doesn't have to shut this down. :)
