OK, OK... so the hardball talk article suggests that was probably a typo in the tweet (a tweepo?) and that the young Indian signed 'just' a FIVE year extension (money not disclosed as of this typing). As the article also notes... signing the young guys is definitely in vogue... so building from within will be nearly mandatory. It will also have a ripple effect of making the guys that reach FA even more expensive. Oh... and Ian Kinsler won't be available through FA for a while, either.
