Is 3/5 of the infield of the future set/Should Darwin Barney be traded?

Wanted to have an open discussion on whether or not Darwin Barney should be the second baseman of the future. Is he the second baseman on a world series winning team? Is it too early to start committing to certain players? Does Barney have significant trade value to get other players? Is there a better 2B in the system?

Barney is 26 and will most likely be over 30 before the Cubs are in serious contention. Barney will probably hit about 10 homers this year and about .270. But what is his value on the trade market?
