Potential Waivers Trades

Now that the non-waiver trade deadline has passed, and the Cubs were obviously in sell mode, I think we can expect at least one more move in August, maybe more. There are a few candidates to be moved in August:

Matt Garza, obviously his health played into not being moved, but if he has a few starts and does well, I think he would be claimed by a number of teams. I don't think he makes it past the first team in the waiver order, the Royals have been linked to him, and could potentially try to pick him up with an eye to 2013.

Alfonso Soriano, presumably he would pass through the process unclaimed, and be eligible to be traded wherever. The Tigers were linked to him, so there may be something for him later on, with more time to balance money.

Carlos Marmol, here is a guy who could be claimed for a stretch run by a team, but I doubt the Cubs would let him go for nothing.

Jeff Baker would almost certainly be claimed, as a cheap , platoon productive utility man. The Cubs could potentially work out a deal, although I would think that they had offers prior to the deadline, and just didn't get any value.
