While this might sound like a joke, why haven’t teams really started to exploit Matt Garza’s biggest weakness?
I am really surprised that teams haven’t started to bunt off of him multiple times per game. I know teams have watched the tapes...literally it doesn’t even require a Tony Campana type player to bunt off of Garza. Just someone to place a bunt somewhat decently a little down the line to make him field the ball. That is all it takes, and he will throw it away.
Does anyone else wonder this ever? I can’t remember the last time Garza fielded a bunt or knub shot cleanly, and make a throw (standing up) to the first basemen.
