This doesn't shut the door on him being traded, but the injury obviously makes his trade value shrink, and it looks more and more like he'll be a Cub in 2013. If the injury lowers his asking price in extension talks, this may be a blessing in disguise, but that's assuming he's willing to work out a deal to stay in Chicago.
