This may well be my last Fanpost/Fanshot for awhile. With the end of the minor league season, it's time for me to re-charge my batteries. I have a few Prospect Projects I'm working on off-site (No, I'm not pimping them here. Too many people already think the site is too minor league-heavy.) Don't worry, I'll still be around. When PTBNL are NL, I'll toss in a comment or two. When the affiliate shuffle happens, I'll emerge. But to be better next year with the draft and discussing prospects, I'd better get about doing that. And spending less time debating the merits of Anibel Sanchez versus Zack Greinke the better. Or whatever. Plus, I've been getting a bit more snippy than I prefer. I'm on Twitter and FB all the time. If you've got something you want to run by me, I'll probably see it and answer here, though there may be better. But other than that, I have some minor league games to watch and some profiles to read and write. Yeah, I probably have too much faith in Team Theo. Guilty as charged. I think he and his have found a crease in the system, and they'll exploit it for another year. (Flame away, I'm not responding anyway.) I really prefer minor league ball now. I enjoy Rizzo, Castro, Shark, and a few others as well, but my 'value' here is on the minor league pipeline. I welcome any commentary on the minor league Cubs system, though it's probably best to limit it here. I might do a periodic Winter Ball update, but other than that, this will be my quiet time. I apologize to anyone I snapped at, and enjoy this list in the interim. I'll start with more draft prep in a few months. Look me up if you have any recommendations, or have an angle you'd like to spin with. I only 'went there' because nobody else was. I am still confident a dozen or two of you could do a better job than I do, time-permitting. Anyway, comment away. I have research and writing to get to.
