Soriano to the Yankees? Can we make it happen?

Since the Yankees missed out on trading for Michael Morse, any chance we can convince them to take Soriano. The Yankees are old and they need to win now before Jeter is regulated to DH duties. Soriano would be an upgrade at DH with ARod out until August 2013. Plus he could get the occasional start in LF when Bret Gardner goes on the DL. If Cano got hurt, they can even play him back at his natural 2B position (I know he'd have fewer throwing errors than former NY 2B Chuck Knoblauch, mostly cause he'd never field a ball cleanly at 2B)

The Yankees are in cost containment mode and $5 million a year for 2 years fits into their plans. I remember how much Soriano loved being a Yankee, and I'm sure he'd waive his no-trade clause to go back. Just a thought.
