Brian Wilson?

How would you guys feel if the cubs were interested in Brian Wilson? At first glance, this would seem to be a move similar to others this offseason. It would be a high risk, low cost deal. He is another guy coming off of tommy john (I thing his second however) who can either return to his previous form or his arm can be done for good. If we can get him on the cheap, why not give him a shot? It seems as though not many teams are interested.

I understand there may also be some problems that would come with this deal. First off, would we really want the media circus that surrounds a guy like this? He draws an awful lot of attention to himself, which could be fun sometimes but others are turned off by characters like this. How do you guys feel about his act? Even with this being said he is supposedly a great clubhouse guy. (another thing theo and jed are looking for)

It may be hard to talk him into coming to chicago anyhow because word is that he wants a closing job, and I think we already have two closers on the roster at the moment. Do we just not have a spot for him? Would he be willing to take different role in the pen? What do you guys think? Am I nuts?
