After watching national baseball analysts the past few weeks the Cubs are one of the first teams that pop up in potential landing spots for Price. Olney commented last night that Price would be likely to sign a long term deal with his new team and the Cubs are the first team he mentions. Yes David would cost a hefty price both in his contract and the pieces that we would have to give up. Wonder if Theo/Jed would go for it since the free agent market for pitching is weak next offseason. Just think it's weird the Cubs name keeps popping up. One can dream can't he!!
