The Chicago Cubs are coming off a dismal 2013 season where they finished 66-96 despite having a goal of finishing at the .500 mark. What really killed them was their offense where they ranked in the bottom 5 in average, on-base percentage, and runs. They were in the top 15 in BAA, WHIP, and Quality Starts. They need to make some moves that will help them in the upcoming season as a place-holder until the Cubs top prospects are big league ready. I think they need to make some moves that will solidify there bench and improve their bullpen.
