One thing the Internet (thanks Al Gore) has done has made trivia questions easier to answer because one can simply go to the internet. Though the question I am about to ask can be verified in about 15-20 minutes if you are resourceful using the internet, it has never been answered correctly in its entirety when asked to people in a live setting. Here is the question:
Name the 9 Cubs that AFTER they played for the Cubs went to another team and reached 20 or more saves for another team during the 1980's.
Note, these pitchers may or may not have reached the 20 save mark for the Cubs when they pitched for them. A few examples of who is NOT on the list of answers (and why). Goose Gossage (though he had numerous 20+ save seasons, none occurred after he pitched for the Cubs. Mitch Williams (though he had 20+ save seasons after the Cubs, they occurred after the 80's were over.
Try your best to name them without accessing the internet first. I will post the answer on Tuesday, (please do not put correct names in comments, though you can happily put the number you got correct in the comments)
0-3 - Are you sure Trivia is your forte?
4-5 - Average
6 - Starting to click, but still a ways to go
7 - Nicely done - definitely a true Cubs Fan
8 - This club only has one member thus far, you would be the second
9 - Never been done, so you would be the first - Congratulations
So the next time you have someone who thinks they are the "know it all" Cubs Fan, throw this trivia question their way.
Pay it forward, share your best Cubs Trivia question in the comments.
Til Tuesday, good luck!
