Here's the set up:
Here's the Question:
How hard do you root for the Cubs to take the series in game six ?
The altruistic answer is: "of course, close it out, win it! do it!
The selfish answer is: Imagine the experience of a game seven Cubs clinch world series. That's a story that'll be passed down for generations!
The question popped into my head as a couple members of a softball team I sub for bought tickets in Boston for Game seven. We live in Nashville, so they flew up to Boston prior to game six just in case they could also get game six tickets. They couldn't. Game Seven would be their only chance at seeing the Sox in the World Series. So they're out air fare, hotel, food and game seven tickets.
Would I be happy the Cubs won the world series? Of course I would. Would I be okay with paying $4,500.00 to ensure the Cubs got it down? Who do I make the check out to?
Just an off-season thinker...
