There isn't too much more to say about this than the headline; Jorge Soler homered in the first inning of the Cubs' first intrasquad game at HoHoKam Park Thursday, February 21.
Nick Struck threw a 3-1 pitch. Soler hammered it over the left-field wall in front of about 100 fans and other observers on a chilly day in Mesa.
